A Story About The World Ends With You
My most ambitious and involved project to date. Over the course of 93 minutes, I explore the themes of The World Ends With You: the universal feelings we associate with youth and how relationships change our perspective. By tying the game’s narrative together with a storyline from my own life, I crafted this blend of analysis and personal essay that I believe uniquely fits the medium of video games and how they touch our lives.

At over a quarter million views, this is my most successful video essay. An examination of the previously obscure PC adventure game Blade Runner, this essay serves both as a critical viewpoint on the game and an introduction of my video style—which is characterized by fast-paced editing and sardonic writing.

Lexington Philharmonic:
A Decade to Celebrate
Commissioned by the Lexington Philharmonic in recognition of their composer’s ten years of service, this video represents what I am capable of in a guerilla setting. I covered every aspect of this production as a solo contractor, using what equipment I was able to gather at the time. It’s rough around the edges, but I still believe it is a good example of resourcefulness.
